(Cushing, Okla) — March is Youth Arts Month and The Lachenmeyer Arts Center is pleased to present the Annual Youth Arts Show. It will be on exhibit March 4 –15, 2024. The Lachenmeyer Arts Center is located in the Cushing Youth & Community Center at 700 S. Little Ave.
On display is artwork from students studying with Mariah Meyers at Cushing High School and students studying art with Betty Hancock at Cushing Middle School. Included in the show is student art work from the Lachenmeyer Arts Center. The Thompson Foundation is sponsoring several Awards. The winner of the high school division will receive a $50 gift certificate from Hobby Lobby. Winners from the middle school and elementary divisions will each receive a gift certificate for $25. There is also a “People’s Choice Award” of $25. This is determined by a popular vote of people visiting the exhibit.
The Lachenmeyer Arts Center is in the Cushing Youth & Community Center at 700 S. Little Ave. Hours at the Lachenmeyer Arts Center are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday and 1:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday.
