(Cushing, Okla) — Voters will go to the polls, Tuesday, April 4th, 2023 to elect city officials, school board members and vote on propositions.  Polls are open from 7 am – 7 pm.

Local elections:

In Cushing, eligible voters will be choosing between incumbent Ricky Lofton and challenger Geoffrey Beasley for Cushing City Commissioner, Seat #5.  Also on the ballot, Cushing School Board, Office No. 3 – candidates are Trudy Evans and Brian Zwanziger.

Drumright voters will choose between Tina Russell and Julie Roberts to fill the unexpired term on the Drumright School Board, Office No. 4.  A school bond for new construction and updates is also on the ballot.  More information can be found here: Drumright School Bond.

In Agra, votes will be cast for Board of Trustees, choosing between Justin Brown and Jimmie Darrell Watkins for an unexpired seat, and also a second seat.  Those candidates are: Laura Brown, Janene Stevens, Patricia Roe and Lori Molloy.

Eligible Yale voters will elect either Nancy L. Griffin or Roy Lee Lozier to City Council, Commissioner Seat #5.

Oilton voters will elect a Mayor, candidates are: Patrick L. Kennedy, Kenneth W. Graham and John K. Casey.

Bristow voters will also be going to the polls to elect someone to fill Office No. 3 on the Bristow School Board.   Candidates are Kenneth Buchanan and Jessica Smith.

Stroud voters will elect a Council Member, Ward No. 2, choosing between candidates Phyllis L. Craig and Raphe Thompson.  Also on the ballot – Stroud Public Schools Board, Office No. 3, candidates J.P. Morris and Shane Niccum.
