(STILLWATER, OK) – On Friday, March 10, 2023 at 11:53 a.m., Stillwater Police Department (SPD) responded to 1502 N. Cimarron Plaza in reference to an armed robbery. It was reported that two Hispanic males in all black clothing, black cloth masks and black gloves robbed the Hispanic Grocery store, El Arenal. The suspects fled northbound through the complex in a light gray SUV. It is possible that there was a third suspect who was driving the SUV.
The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and a cell phone. The cell phone was later located in the area of Lakeview and Monroe.
Surveillance footage in the area revealed that the vehicle is possibly a silver 2015 or newer Chevy Equinox. We have included a still image of the surveillance footage and a stock photo of the SUV.
