(STILLWATER, OK) – On Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 5:07 p.m., Stillwater Police Department (SPD) Special Projects Team conducted a traffic stop in the area of 5600 S. Perkins Road. During the traffic stop, officers utilized K9 Rotex for a free air sniff on the vehicle. The dog alerted to the odor of illegal narcotics in the car and the officers conducted a search.

 

SPD officers located and seized, a loaded semi-automatic pistol and 9 kilos of Methamphetamine (Just shy of 20lbs). This is more than 44 times the aggravated trafficking weight in Oklahoma. This carries an approximate street value in excess of $177,000.00.

 

The driver, Holly Lynch, was arrested and transported to SPD jail and subsequently charged with aggravated trafficking of methamphetamine and use of a firearm while committing a felony.
