(Stillwater, Okla.) — A 64-year-old man, who previously lived in Cushing, was charged today with trafficking methamphetamine in Stillwater on July 17, court records show.
Larry Wayne Davis of Stillwater has been jailed on $25,000 bail pending his arraignment Tuesday on the felony drug charge investigated by Stillwater police, court records show.
When Davis lived in Cushing 12 years ago, he was charged with assault and battery on a Cushing police officer, a felony that was reduced to misdemeanor assault on a police officer, as well as public intoxication, court records show.
Davis was given a 30-day jail term followed by five months’ probation plus a $100 fine in 2007, court records show.
Davis was also ordered to have a substance abuse evaluation and to perform any recommended follow-up treatment, court records show.
