(Stillwater, Okla.) — A 37-year-old Cushing man was charged this week with using a fake $20 bill to buy pizza at a Stillwater restaurant.
NIcholas Dean Wright was mailed a letter by the Payne County District Attorney’s Office to voluntarily appear in court on July 24 or be arrested, court records show.
If convicted of obtaining property by false pretense on June 12 from Papa John’s Pizza, Wright could be given as much as a three-year prison term and a $1,000 fine, court records show.
The case was investigated by the United States Secret Service and the Stillwater Police Department, court records show.
