(Cushing, OK) Laura Renee Moorman, 53, of Perkins, Oklahoma drowned just south of Highway 33 on Perkins Road yesterday just before 5 o’clock.
According to the Highway Patrol, a black PT Cruiser drove around a high water sign and into water that covered the roadway. The vehicle was swept off the east side of the road and became submerged in approximately 10 feet of water.
The driver was submerged for approximately 45 minutes before being recoverd by the Stillwater Fire Department
