(Stillwater, Okla.) — A Perkins man, who was scheduled to have a non-jury trial this week, instead pleaded guilty to having sexually abused a female child, to whom he is related, when he lived in rural Stillwater in 2008.
Kevin Wayne Cluck, 39, was sentenced Tuesday to 10 years in prison followed by 15 years probation by Payne County District Judge Phillip Corley, who ordered him to obtain a psycho-sexual evaluation and register as a sex offender on his release, court records show.
The victim, who is now about 20, reported on Oct. 30, 2017, that between 2005 and 2012, Cluck had molested her on numerous locations, according to an affidavit by Payne County Sheriff’s Deputy George Disel.
The victim said “these incidents happened to her from about her age of 7 and continued until her age of about 12,” the affidavit said.
She described the incidents as consensual “understanding that it was okay to be doing these things,” the affidavit said.
She said she was never threatened and “it was their secret with mutual consent directed by Kevin,” the affidavit said.
In May of 2017, the victim “conversed with Kevin about why he had molested her…and recorded this conversation without his knowledge,” the affidavit said.
Cluck told her “he did not have a great excuse other than he did not want her to get curious with anybody else and just wanted to protect her,” the affidavit said.
When Cluck was interviewed by sheriff’s deputies on Oct. 30, 2017, about the victim performing oral sex on him, Cluck said, “She actually did at times. I don’t recall how many times to be honest,” the affidavit said.
Cluck “advised that the first time, he was asleep,” and woke to the victim performing oral sex on him, the affidavit said.
Cluck said that when he asked her what she was doing, the then-child said another male relative had taught her, the affidavit said.
“Kevin advised that he did nothing because he didn’t know what to do and was scared of becoming a bad guy,” the affidavit said.
