(Stillwater, Okla.) – An ex-convict from Cushing, who has five prior drug convictions including one from Drumright, was charged Monday with possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in Cushing on Oct. 21.
Alphuea Colleen Armstrong, 49, who was paroled from prison last year, is being held in the Payne County Jail on her current charges and also for Creek County authorities, court records show. She has also used the surnames of Gillum and Wilson.
According to state Department of Corrections and court records, Armstrong was convicted of:
* possession of a drug after a former felony conviction in 2012 in the Drumright division of Creek County District Court, on which she served one year of a three-year prison term;
* possession of methamphetamine in 2012 in Cushing, on which she served about two years of a concurrent six-year prison term before her parole in May 2014;
* possession of methamphetamine in 2011 in Cushing, on which she served about two years of a concurrent six-year prison term before her parole in May 2014;
* possession of the pain medication oxycodone in Cushing without a prescription in 2010, on which she served about 15 months of a concurrent five-year prison term prior to her pre-release in that case in October 2013;
* possession of methamphetamine, hydrocodone and diazepam in Cushing without a prescription in 2007 for which she was originally given three years probation under a deferred sentence that was changed in 2012 to a concurrent five-year prison term of which she served about 15 months prior to her pre-release in that case in October 2013.
