(Stillwater, Okla.) – A Stillwater man was arraigned Monday from the Payne County Jail on a felony charge accusing him of bringing marijuana into the Cimarron Correctional Facility in Cushing on Sunday.

Codey Vance Dawes, 25, who previously lived in Cushing, was ordered to appear in court with an attorney on Nov. 12. His bail was set at $1,000, court records show.

If convicted of bringing a controlled drug into a prison, Dawes could be incarcerated for as much as five years and fined $1,000, court records show.
