(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety.

 

A fatality collision occurred on Friday, September 11th (2015) at approximately 1:43 (pm) on US64, 8/10 of a mile east of County Road 3450, which is located 1.2 miles west of Pawnee, in Pawnee county.

 

Vicki G Willis (51) was driving a 2012 Mitsubishi Gallant, eastbound on US64 when it crossed the center line and exited the roadway to the left, hitting the end of the guardrail and continuing on the top of the guardrail for an unknown length before traveling down the embankment. The Mitsubishi then rolled an unknown number of times before coming to rest on its top, partially submerged in a large creek.

 

Willis was transported by Air Evac to Saint Francis (Tulsa) where she was admitted in critical condition. Her two passengers, John H Green (83) of Pawnee and a juvenile passenger age 9 also of Pawnee were transported by Pawnee EMS to Stillwater Medical. Green was pronounced dead, the juvenile passenger was treated and released.

 

The DPS report shows that the condition of the driver and the cause of the collision is under investigation.
