(Cushing, Okla.) It’s that time again where Cushing residents can take advantage of free dumping at the transfer station, 515 N. Luella. All you need is a copy of your most recent utility bill (and you might want to also have your ID available in case they ask).
For your convenience, the transfer station will be open Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free dumping is now through August 15, 2015. Normal transfer use policy must be followed.
Here are the rules:
No demolition or construction waste.
No hazardous waste.
No batteries, paint, tires, oil, or liquid substances.
Freon must be removed from any appliances and must have certification tag attached to appliance.
Limbs must be cut into 4 ft. lengths.
No dead animal carcasses.
This service is provided by the City of Cushing as part of the Team Up to Clean Up campaign.
