(Stillwater, Okla.) — A Cushing man was charged today with possession of marijuana and tablets containing amphetamine/dextroamphetamine with intent to distribute within 2,000 feet of Harrison Grade School in Cushing, a loaded .44-caliber magnum handgun and a loaded .45-caliber pistol during the commission of a felony, a stolen 12 gauge shotgun, and drug paraphernalia, all on Monday.

Thomas Mitchell Greene, 26, was arrested after Cushing police with the assistance of the Payne County Sheriff’s Office served a narcotics search warrant about 6 a.m. Monday at his residence in the 200 block of E. Sixth Street, a police news release said.

More than 30 firearms were seized, according to a news release from Cushing Deputy Police Chief Chuck Claxton.

If convicted of a four-count charge, Greene could be given as much as a life prison term plus 16 years and a $41,500 fine, court records show.

Greene was released from the Payne County Jail today after posting a $2,500 cash bond, a sheriff’s spokesman told KUSH.
