(Stillwater, Okla.) — A man who admitted trafficking 122.55 grams of methamphetamine in Stillwater at his residence in 2014 has been given a 10-year prison term as part of a plea bargain approved in court Friday that would allow the balance of his sentence to be suspended — if he successfully completes a Drug Offender Work Camp.
Phillip Anthony Williams, 24, now of Midwest City, was given a concurrent 10-year prison term Friday with the same conditions for possessing the same drug in 2013.
Williams, who had pleaded guilty to both methamphetamine charges, was ordered by Associate District Judge Stephen Kistler Friday to pay a total of $3,850 in fines and assessments.
Williams’ co-defendant in his methamphetamine trafficking case, Misty Dawn Hardiman, 37, who has also been known by the surname Rodriguez, remains in the Payne County Jail on $1.5 million total bail due to her two other drug trafficking charges. She has been ordered to appear in court on June 12, court records show.
A search warrant was served at their then-residence in the 1300 block of S. Duncan Street in Stillwater on March 13, 2014, Stillwater Police Officer Tom Comstock wrote in an affidavit. In the bedroom, 3.8 grams of methamphetamine in two bags was found inside a teddy bear, an affidavit alleged.
In the bathroom, 6.17 grams of methamphetamine divided into several bags was found along with digital scales with methamphetamine residue, as well as a pill bottle with .2 grams of methamphetamine, the affidavit alleged.
In a chest-style freezer in the utility room, a tater puff bag contained 112.4 grams of methamphetamine separated into individual zip-top bags, the affidavit alleged.
A search of Williams’ cell phone “yielded numerous texts which showed Misty Hardiman was involved in the purchase of this methamphetamine,” the affidavit alleged.
Williams said “Hardiman funded the purchase, but they have separated Hardiman from the drug business as she is now (in March 2014) writing bail bonds for a Stillwater business,” the affidavit alleged.
