(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety.
A personal injury collision occurred June 7th at 1:42 (pm) on Lone Chimney Road 1/10 of a mile east of Ripley Road (1 east of Glencoe) in Payne County.
Kelly E. Moore (54) of Glencoe was driving a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Lone Chimney Road when he entered a curve to fast departing the roadway to the right causing the motorcycle to lie over on its side and then the cycle started to tumble ejecting the driver.
Moore was transported by MEDI –FLIGHT to St John’s Hospital (Tulsa) where he was admitted in critical condition with head and trunk internal injuries.
DPS reports show the cause of the collision to be going too fast for the curve in the road.
