(Cushing, Okla.) Cushing Chamber of Commerce will host a luncheon welcoming Raymond Byrd, the newly appointed warden at Cimarron Correctional Facility in Cushing, on Thursday, May 14th at Steer Inn Family Restaurant.
Byrd was appointed to the position on April 24, 2015 and comes to CCA with more than 17 years of correctional facility management and leadership experience. Over the course of his 30 year career as a corrections professsional, Byrd has served as warden of both public and private facilities representing a range of security levels, populations and jurisdictions.
The luncheon will start at 11:30 a.m. to allow time for anyone wanting to purchase a meal prior to Byrd’s introduction at approximately noon. Those wishing to attend are urged to RSVP by calling the Chamber at 918-225-2400.
