(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety.
A collision occurred on May 6th (2015) at 6:17 (a.m.) on SH9A approximately 4/10 of a mile north of County Road EW127 (Fairview Rd.) in Pottawatomie County.
Robb Allen Kopp (44) of Maud was driving a 2014 Fiat northbound on SH9A when he departed the roadway to the left striking a tree.
Kopp was transported by React to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City with head, trunk internal and external, and arm and leg injuries. He is listed in serious condition.
Kopp was pinned for approximately 25 minutes and was extricated using the Hurst Tool.
The cause of the collision was reported to be unsafe speed for having rain or a wet roadway.
