(Cushing, Okla.) It’s time for spring cleaning and Allied Waste is allowing residents to haul trash free to the Transfer Station, located at 515 N. Luella in Cushing from April 13 – April 18, 2015.
Hours to haul free are from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday (closed for lunch from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. Residents must present a recent utility bill and a valid picture ID.
Curbside bulk waste pickup in on Saturday, April 18, 2015 only. Items need to be at the curb by 6 a.m. DO NOT PLACE ITEMS IN ALLEY!
Bulk Waste Restrictions:
1. Refrigerators, freezers and air-conditioners are accepted provided the freon has been properly drained by a qualified technician, certification issued and placed on the unit.
2. Brush is to be cut into 4-foot lengths, tied and bundled. Must not weigh over 50 lbs.
3. No massive pieces of concrete or rocks.
4. Smaller items should be placed in containers.
5. No massive construction or demolition materials.
6. No hazardous waste.
7. No batteries, paints, tires, oils or liquid substances.
8. No dead animal carcasses.
