(Cushing, Okla.) Payne County voters will go to the polls on Tuesday, April 7th, to cast their votes for several offices.
In Cushing, voters will decide who will fill two seats on the Cushing Board of Commissioners. Incumbent Evert Rossiter and his opponent Trace Rowe will vie for Seat # 1, while candidate Jim Hogrefe takes on Brent Thompson for Seat #2.
Rossiter is relying on his nine years of experience and service to the community to help win a fourth consecutive term as commissioner, while Rowe is hoping voters will see the opportunity for change and cast their vote for him.
Hogrefe, who served in Seat #5 for six years, has tossed his hat into the ring taking on Thompson, former Cushing Chamber Director. Hogrefe deems a vote for him is a vote for common sense, and Thompson’s platform includes addressing the housing issue in Cushing.
All four candidates have been actively campaigning throughout the city.
Other Payne County elections
