(Stillwater, Okla.) – A Cushing man who was convicted of sexual battery in Creek County has been jailed in Payne County on charges of drug possession and failure to register as a sex offender, both in Cushing.

Windelyn Shoulderblade Jr. 24, who is also being held for Creek County authorities, has been ordered to appear in Payne County District Court on April 6 when he can seek a preliminary hearing on his Cushing charges.

Shoulderblade was arrested at 1:46 a.m. on Feb. 27 on a Creek County warrant for allegedly violating probation in his 2014 sexual battery case, Cushing Police Officer Matt Piatt wrote in an affidavit.

During the booking process at the Cushing City Jail, Officer Jonathan Hall located in Shoulderblade’s right front watch pocket a glass smoking pipe with a residue that tested positive as methamphetamine, the affidavit alleged.

“Officer Hall also located a black rubber piece of an ink pen that had a white residue inside Shoulderblade’s right front watch pocket,” the affidavit alleged. The officer also found a piece of a blue pill in Shoulderblade’s right front pants pocket that Shoulderblade said was Klonopin, a controlled drug, the affidavit alleged.

In addition to the drug count, Shoulderblade was also charged with violating the Sex Offender Registration Act by failing to notify the Cushing Police Department in January of his intention to live in the 1100 block of E. Greenlee in Cushing.

Shoulderblade had been convicted in December in Creek County of sexual battery for which he was placed on five years’ probation — except for 30 days in jail which he had already served, court records show. He was released from the Creek County Jail on Dec. 16, 2014, court records show.
