(Stillwater, Okla.) — A Stillwater man was charged Monday with embezzling $8,664.96 from Staples while he was working there between Dec. 12 and Dec. 31 of 2014.
Avery Jacob Gilmore, 22, allegedly used a series of transactions involving false returns and false coupon codes to get the money from the Stillwater store, court records show.
If convicted of embezzlement, Gilmore could be given a five-year prison term and a $5,000 fine, according to the felony charge.
