(Drumright, Okla.)  Central Tech will host their annual Open House this Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015 from 1 – 4 p.m. at both Drumright and Sapulpa campuses. This year will be a little “extra special” to celebrate 45 years.

Some of those special things include an autograph signing opportunity on the Drumright campus (Transportation & Safety Education building) beginning at 1:30 p.m. with legendary Sooners Jim Riley, Jerry Pettibone and Jay O’Neil.

“Bring your Sooner memoriabilia to have them autograph it,” Stephanie Pool (Director of Marketing & Communications at Central Tech) urged KUSH listeners Friday morning. Unfortunately Barry Switzer and Joe Washington, who were to join their fellow Sooners, had to cancel due to last minute scheduling conflicts.

And for OSU Cowboy fans, Pool said Pistol Pete will be at the Sapulpa campus at 2 p.m.

Former Central Tech staff members and students are invited to stop by the VIP table in the seminar center to receive a commemorative 45th anniversary lapel pin.

At 2:30 p.m., those attending will need to be in the seminar centers (both campuses) for the cookie cutting ceremony which will be live streamed between campuses.

And at 3:30 p.m. the name of the lucky winner of this year’s grand prize, a bench that converts to a table (built by Central Tech students), will be drawn from the pool of registrants. Those registering will also receive a commemorative deck of playing cards that include 54 facts about Central Tech. The number of decks is limited, so be sure to sign up early!

The list of things to see and do is very impressive! From a Custom & Classic Car Show at the Drumright Campus and the Corvett Show at the Sapulpa Campus, to all sorts of things for kids young and old to enjoy, Central Tech Open House is where you will want to be this Sunday afternoon!
