(Cushing, Okla.) According to the Oklahoma State Election Board totals, Cushing citizens have made their voices heard regarding the issues.
With all precincts reporting, Proposition No. 1 (Renovation of City Hall) failed with 294 voting no while 249 people voted yes. Proposition No. 2 (Purchase of a Quint Fire Truck) passed with an overwhelming 448 votes for and 94 people against the purchase. A total of 543 people voted in this election.
Results are unofficial until after 5 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2015 and do not include provisional ballot results.
