(Stillwater, Okla.) – A Cushing teenager has been ordered to appear in court this afternoon on his second methamphetamine possession charge during a two-month period.

Chayce William Schwab, 19, was free on $5,000 bond on his first methamphetamine possession charge when he incurred his second drug charge in Cushing last month, on which he posted an additional $25,000 bond, court records show.

If convicted of both felonies, as well as misdemeanor counts of possessing drug paraphernalia, Schwab could be incarcerated for 22 years and fined $12,000, court records show.

In his case filed last week, Schwab, who now lives in the 1500 block of E. Moses Street, allegedly possessed methamphetamine and a glass smoking pipe containing a burnt residue, both on Jan. 16 in Cushing.

In his earlier case, Schwab, who then listed a Maramec residence in Pawnee County, allegedly possessed methamphetamine, a glass pipe and a small red straw on Nov. 9 in Cushing.

In that November case, which is scheduled for a Feb. 12 preliminary hearing, Schwab was arrested by Cushing Police Officer Aaron Sherman at Fifth Street and South Little Avenue, court records show.

“Schwab told me he had no knowledge of the incident that had occurred with a truck matching his description.

“While talking with Schwab, he was caught in two different lies. Both times Schwab admitted to lying to me,” the officer alleged in his affidavit.

“While I was patting him down, I felt a bulge on the left side of his jacket,” consistent with a smoking pipe, the officer alleged in his affidavit.

“Schwab told me he did not know what was inside his pocket,” but gave him permission to remove the item, a glass smoking pipe with burnt residue, the officer alleged.

“Schwab told me there was a small baggy with white powder in between the seats of his truck,” the officer alleged.

“Schwab told me the pipe was used to smoke methamphetamine and the baggy in his truck is also methamphetamine.

“Schwab also told me the methamphetamine was not his and was transporting it for a friend,” the officer alleged in his affidavit.

Inside the truck, the Cushing officer located a small clear plastic baggy containing a white powdery substance with EZY dose pill pouch written on it, the affidavit alleged.

The officer also found a drill bit box containing a small plastic baggy with a white powdery residue that appeared to be heat-sealed and torn open, along with a small red straw with a burnt/melted end, the affidavit alleged.

I also located another baggy inside the driver-side visor,” with another EZY dose pill pouch consistent with the one found between the seats, the officer alleged in his affidavit.

The white powdery substance field-tested as methamphetamine, the affidavit alleged.
