(STILLWATER, OKLA.) The Oklahoman has named Central Rural Electric Cooperative as one of the Top Workplaces in Oklahoma as a result of workplace surveys of employees of companies across the state.
The independent research study was conducted by Workplace Dynamics, and consisted of surveys to more than 22,000 employees of businesses in large, medium and small employer categories.
Employees taking the survey were asked to grade their workplaces in areas such as the employer’s direction, connection and execution, as well as their own feelings about their work, manager and pay and benefits.
CREC was ranked in the Top 40 of small employers throughout the state, and received high marks from employees in the areas of benefits, atmosphere, employee engagement and its relentless pursuit of excellence.
“We are extremely honored to be named a Top Employer in Oklahoma,” said David Swank, CEO of CREC. “We have always emphasized that we want our employees to feel engaged and empowered to provide our members with the best possible service in our industry. It’s humbling, and gratifying, to see that the emphasis we’ve placed on enhancing our workplace has been embraced by our staff.”
Headquartered in Stillwater, CREC is a not-for-profit electric cooperative that serves approximately 20,000 members in seven-central Oklahoma counties. For more information about CREC, visit https://www.crec.coop.
