(Cushing, Okla) – The 2014 Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon was a real success with 270 tickets sold out of a total of 275 tickets that were available to the event.
The luncheon that was sponsored by CRH Foundation took place yesterday at the United Methodist Church (Cushing).
Marian Gilkerson the Director for the CRH Foundation welcomed all the attendees to the luncheon. This was followed by Blessings with words and song with Reverend Kevin Clouse (Church of God) and Dr. King Morris, M.D.
Entertainment was under the direction of Holly Tichenor with Ryan Gaskins, Lexy McKnight, Korben Gaskins, Sam Moyer, Dawson Claxton and Anna Mae Nightswonger, and Emery Turner all providing solos and duets.
Brunch was a freshly prepared chicken salad which was served on a croissant with pasta salad and fruit, and a dessert of cheese cake.(Gift packages were provided by Embridge)
Annae Imhoff was the Keynote Speaker (Tribute in Faith).
Survivors were then recognized and vocals from Robin Wessle, singing How Great Thou Art.
The Cushing Police Department assisted the Silent Auction winners. Total amount of monies raised from the event were not known at this time.
