(Cushing, Okla.) Fall is in the air and that can mean only one thing…ok, maybe that’s not exactly correct… but it does mean it is time for Festival in the Park!
The 26th Annual Festival in the Park will be held Saturday, Oct.11th in Cushing Memorial Park.
The day’s festivities will begin with the Geographic Club’s Run for the Mums 5k run & fitness walk at 8:30 a.m. It is the 25th year of Run for the Mums. Entry fee is $30 for adults and $5 for children. Participants may register from 7 – 8:15 a.m. at the corner of Little and 5th (Cushing Aquatic Center).

Then there’s the entertainment. The Festival will feature local talent as well as two special groups – RendevouX and T-ANN-T.
RendevouX’s playlist includes everything from Chuck Berry to Lynyrd Skynard to ZZ Top, Delbert McClinton, and the Beatles. They will take the stage at noon.
T-ANN-T is a three-piece high-energy group that specializes in music from the 50s through today’s hits, covering genres from R&B to Country to Rock-n-Roll to Jazz – as well as some Blues. T-ANN-T begins at 1:30.
