(Cushing, Okla.) The Piecemakers of Cushing Quilt Guild is sponsoring a quilt show “There’s Quilters Among Us” Sept. 5th and 6th at the Cushing Youth Center, 700 S. Little, in Cushing. Open Friday, Sept. 5th from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 6th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission fee $5, children under 12 get in free when accompanied by an adult.
The quilt show will feature over 100 quilts, door prizes, food concessions, vendors, demonstrations and a “country store.”
A drawing will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6th at 4 p.m. to announce the winner of a raffle quilt, “Autumn Splendor” made by Wynonna R. (see photo). You do not need to be present to win. Tickets are available at Mila’s Fabrics, 111 E. Broadway, Cushing, or from any Piecemakers of Cushing Quilt Guild member. Tickets only $1 each or 6 for $5.
