(Stillwater, Okla) Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that around 7:32 Friday evening a vehicle driven by 58-year-old Curtis Dean Ramsey of Coyle was involved in a motor vehicle – pedestrian accident on Highway 177 south of 68th Street in Payne County.
The accident apparently happened when an 11-year-old juvenile male from Stillwater ran from the west ditch and impacted the right front fender of a 1994 GMC Pickup driven by Ramsey.
The Highway Patrol reports the juvenile died at the scene due to massive injuries and was transported to Strode Funeral Home. Ramsey was not injured.
The highway reports Ramsey was wearing his seat belt.
