(Cushing, Okla) As we prepare to celebrate our nation’s Independence Day, the Cushing Police Department would like to remind everyone that it is unlawful to sell, use, possess, transfer, discharge or explode any fireworks within the corporate city limits, provided that this prohibition shall not apply to duly authorized outdoor public displays. Any person found to be in violation of City Ordinance Article 8 Sec. 42-211 may be subject to a fine of $149.
