(Pawnee, Okla)  According the to Oklahoma Highway Patrol today, a vehicle entered onto the train tracks at County Road 3430 and was hit by a Burlington Northern Santa Fe Train #6563. The train was pulling 55 cars at the time.

The driver of the vehicle a 2010 Dodge 2500 Pickup, was Patricia Ringwald (51) of Pawnee, Oklahoma. Ringwald was airlifted to Saint Francis where she was admitted in critical condition.

Ringwald had four juvenile children all from Duncan, Oklahoma with her at the time of the accident. Two of the juveniles were treated and released at Stillwater Medical Center. The other two juveniles were airlifted to Saint Francis in serious condition.

Both the Burlington Northern Santa Fe engineer Bryce Overstreet (34) of Enid, Oklahoma  and his passenger Justin Whisenhut (32) were not injured.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports seat-belts were being used.
