(Cushing, Okla) Cushing Lions Club met today for their noon meeting in the Lions Den . One of the topics covered at that meeting was the installation of Officers which is slated to take place next week on Tuesday, June 24 (2014) at the regular noon meeting.
Lion Jim Pickard the incoming President will take over his new position on July 1 (2014) and is looking forward to serving “or” service to Cushing and “or” Lions Club. Lion Pickard said it had been 25 years since the first time he had been President of Lions Club.
Other topics discussed during the meeting were: The pick up and delivery of meals for the noon Lions Club meeting. The sending of incoming Tail Twister and Lion Kevin Clouse to Tail Twister School. The repositioning of Lion Terry Hawk into the Two Year Director position in place of Crystal Robinson.
Cushing Lions Club meets each Tuesday at noon in the Lions Den in downtown Cushing.
