The Cushing Chamber of Commerce welcomed a new business to Cushing today with a ribbon cutting. Sitex, an environmental and safety and rescue company, was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri with offices in Oklahoma and Texas. Cushing Chamber director Brent Thompson, along with members of the Ambassador committee were there to welcome Sitex to Cushing. Those attending were treated to a BBQ lunch prepared by Rich Moline, Up In Smoke.
Sitex offers a wide range of services from safety and personal protection equipment sales, technical services such as instrument calibration, maintenance and repair, SCBA inspection, OSHA compliance, confined space assessments/rescue plan development and on-site standby rescue services to hazard communication (HAZCOM) and customized safety training.
