Betty Ann James, Stillwater resident, passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 in Tulsa, at the age of 66 years.
The daughter of the late Marvin D James and Peggy Marcene Testerman James, Betty was born on December 15, 1947 in Cushing, where she was raised and educated, graduating from Cushing High School with the class of 1966.
Betty was a member of the Mehan Union Church. She had worked for OSU human resources for over 30 years. She enjoyed going to Branson, watching music shows, especially Baldknobbers. She also enjoyed people watching, watching tv and spending time with her family.
Survivors include three sisters, Peggy Spencer and her husband, Harold, of Cushing, Barbara Krajacic of Stillwater and Ruth Wells and her husband, Allen, of Cushing; one brother, Marvin James and his wife, Sue, of Ripley; seven nieces and nephews; eight great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin & Marcene.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Mehan Union Church with Pastor Larry Eslinger officiating.
Serving as casketbearers will be Justin Stewart, Charles Krajacic, Kevin James, James Wells, Charlie Kerby and Eddie Testerman.
Burial will follow in the Harrell Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to OSU Division of Ag, c/o OSU Foundation, P.O. Box 1749, Stillwater, Oklahoma, 74076.
