Wayne Philip Anderson, age 71 of Yale passed away on Wednesday June 4, 2014.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 9, 2014 at the Church of God in Yale. Interment and private family viewing will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home Yale, Ok.
Wayne was born on February 26, 1941 in Salina, Kansas to the late Ralph and Emma (Nelson) Anderson. He grew up in Kansas, and resided in Gypsum, Kansas until this family moved to Nebraska. Wayne married the love of his life Judith Eileen Randall on March 7, 1964 and to this union four sons were born David Wayne of Stillwater, Philip Wayne of Perry, Michael Wayne and wife Krystal of Meramec, and Jeffery Wayne of the home. Wayne enjoyed spending time with Judy planting fruit trees, and landscaping in the yard, he also enjoyed tinkering with old tractors. Wayne and Judy attended the Yale United Methodist Church since they moved to Yale in 1982.
Wayne is survived by his wife Judy of the home, four sons David Wayne of Stillwater, Philip Wayne of Perry, Michael Wayne and wife Krystal of Meramec, and Jeffery Wayne of the home, three brothers Ralph “Andy” Anderson and wife Carol of Guide Rock Nebraska, Roy Anderson and wife Rosemary of Guide Rock Nebraska, and Carl Anderson and wife Jane of Washington, six grandchildren, five boys and one girl, and my other friends, and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
