(Cushing, Okla.) Cushing has a little something else to be proud of – and just in time for barbecue season!
Cushing’s own “Up in Smoke” barbecue sauce and “Burn Out BBQ Team” traveled to Springfield, Missouri for the Rock N Ribs BBQ Festival held May 9th – 10th and brought home several awards – including 1st Place for Best BBQ Sauce.
Rich Moline and his Burn Out teammate Chase Candler also took the 2nd Place award for the “Anything but Meat” dessert category as well as 10th place in the Pork Shoulder category.

Barbecue meats can be purchased at R & M Trailers when they aren’t out competing or working their day jobs. Moline is owner of R & M Trailers, 906 E. Main and Candler is part owner of Bill’s EZ Out 1 & 2, 1107 E. Main and 9th & Linwood in Cushing.
