(Cushing, Okla) David Herber, Field Representative for Congressman Frank Lucas, spoke to the Lions Club today about several different items of interest that have gone on “or” that are currently going on that are of interest to the general public.

He began by talking about the long awaited “Farm Bill” which was passed out of committee and signed into law in early February, 2014. (The bill first passed in 1933 to ease the economic pain of the Great Depression and now bundles dozens of federal agriculture and food programs into one piece of legislation). He also spoke on the progress of the Keystone Pipeline and how the political environment has changed over the last 90 years.

This is the last year for Frank Lucas as Chairman of the Agriculture Committee. Click here for more information: Frank Lucas
