(Stillwater, Okla.) — Three Cushing residents have been jailed on $25,000 bail each on charges of possessing methamphetamine near Cushing High School, along with having drug paraphernalia.
James Allen Twoguns, 54, Kenneth Edward Bonnell, 41, and Melanie Locklear Keys, 34, were arrested after a search warrant was served at a house in the 1500 block of E. Moses, court records show.
Twoguns — who is on probation for possession of methamphetamine and marijuana with intent to distribute in Cushing in 2011 — is due to appear in court Thursday when his attorney may seek a mental competency evaluation for him, court records show.
Bonnell, who apparently lived at Twoguns’ residence on E. Moses, is due to appear in court Thursday with an attorney, court records show.
Keys, who was convicted of possessing a drug without a prescription in Cushing in 2010, is due in court on May 9 to be sentenced for possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, as well as driving under suspension in Cushing, all on June 1, 2013, court records show.
The three were at the house on E. Moses about 10 a.m. on April 9 when a team of sheriff’s deputies and Cushing police officers served a search warrant, Payne County Sheriff’s Deputy Brandon Myers wrote in an affidavit.
In the middle west bedroom, a baggie containing a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine was found under the corner of the bed, the affidavit alleged. Keys’ identification was also found in a purse, the affidavit alleged.
On the floor in the same bedroom, digital scales and a pack of five syringes were found, along with a wallet containing Bonnell’s identification, the affidavit alleged.
In the same bedroom in a safe in the floor, a bag containing 18 unused baggies and a case containing 13 baggies, as well as a syringe cap, Q-tips and alcohol swabs were found, the affidavit alleged.
On the night stand next to the bed, two pinch hitter marijuana pipes and 20 more unused small baggies were found, the affidavit alleged.
In a tin can on the floor next to the bed, another marijuana pipe, short snort straw and five more small baggies were found, the affidavit alleged.
In the wall, a pill bottle with 65 Trazadone pills and 18 Gabapentin pills, all non-scheduled, were found, the affidavit alleged.
In the southwest bedroom in a chair, a spoon with a cotton ball and a light bulb turned into a methamphetamine smoking pipe were found, the affidavit alleged.
On the bed’s headboard, nine baggies, one of which contained a crystal powder tested as methamphetamine, and a pay stub for Twoguns were found, the affidavit alleged.
In a dresser drawer, a marijuana smoking pipe and a small yellow baggie were found, the affidavit alleged.
In the nightstand, an additional 23 assorted small baggies were found, the affidavit alleged. Numerous syringes were found throughout the bedroom, the affidavit alleged.
