Margurite passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, April 6, 2014 in the home of her daughter Judy at the age of 94, surrounded by her loving family.
Margurite Evelyn Blair was born near Lyons, Kansas on August 6, 1919 to Orville and Mae (McAntire) Blair. She left home at age 14 and worked to support herself and attained her high school diploma.
She married LeRoy Hayter in 1938, they had four children: Don, Judy, Jane, and Jim, before Leroy died in 1963. In 1966, she married James Moss who passed away in 1998.
She retired after working almost 40 years as a sales person for Avon and Stanley Home Products. Margurite was baptized in Cushing’s Frist Baptist Church where she taught a Sunday school class for many years.
Preceeding her in death were her parents, her husbands, a son, a grandson, two brothers and a sister. She leaves behind three children, eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchilren, twenty great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
