Jack Kenton Briggeman, Cushing resident, passed away on March 2, 2014 at the age of 63.
Jack was born October 19, 1950 in Pratt, Kansas to Kenneth and Orma Lee (Oller) Briggeman. Jack grew up in the Pratt and Preston Kansas area and graduated from Pratt High School in 1968. After graduation, he proudly followed in his father’s footsteps and joined the US Navy where he served on the USS Constellation. Following his naval service, he attended Emporia State University where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree. Following this, Jack taught history and geography while also coaching middle school football and girls basketball. After relocating to Oklahoma in 1980, Jack went to work for the State of Oklahoma until his retirement.
Jack is survived by his son Joshua Briggeman, daughter Chelsea Kendrick, granddaughters Caitlin Briggeman and Julia Kendrick and grandson Samual Kendrick. Surviving siblings include brother’s Roy and Danny Briggeman and sister’s Nancy Briggeman and Lee Ann Schneider. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents and his son-in-law Les Kendrick.
Memorial services will be held at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home chapel on Wednesday March 12, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.
