Vorsie May Hill passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 in the Easter Hospital in Muskogee Oklahoma, at the age of 71 years.
Graveside services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing and will be held at 1:00 p.m., at the Flynn Cemetery, Thursday, February 27, 2014.
The daughter of the late David Harley and Ruth Irene (Miller) Chastain, Vorsie was born on August 6, 1942 in Cushing Ok. She was reared and educated in the Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School in 1960.
Vorsie married the love of her life Ed Hill; they enjoyed each other’s company until Ed’s passing. Vorsie enjoyed being outside in the garden and planting flowers, most of all she loved her dog Bear who she has with her even this day.
Vorsie is survived by three brothers Harold Chastain, Troi Chastain, and Herb Chastain. One sister Nyokoa Gass, and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Vorise was preceded in death by her husband Ed Hill, two sister, Joyce Beets, and Peggy Twoguns, and one brother, Earl Chastain.
