(Stillwater, Okla.) — A Sand Springs woman, who was arrested in Cushing, was charged today with possessing the drug Clonazepam without a prescription and shoplifting about $130 worth of items from the Cushing Walmart on Wednesday.

When Emma Leonna Hogan, 25, was arraigned today from the Payne County Jail without an attorney, she admitted to having her cousin’s prescription, court records allege.

If convicted of possessing several small round yellow pills, one of which was identified as Clonazepam, in her purse in Cushing, Hogan could be sentenced to two to 10 years in prison and fined $5,000.

If convicted of shoplifting various items of clothing and accessories including underwear, a diaper bag, clothing tops, a wallet and a handbag, Hogan could be given a 30-day jail term and a $500 fine, court records show.

Hogan was ordered today to appear in court on Feb. 26 with an attorney to represent her on the two-count charge.
