(Cushing, Okla.)  Wilson Pre-K students recently celebrated Thanksgiving in a big way.  Students enjoyed two special guests who performed  Native American dancing.  Wilson students in the Indian Education program then performed with the dancers with rain sticks they made in the Title 7 classroom.  The Native American dancers were 5th grade Harrison student Serenity Littlehead, and Cushing High School senior Judiki Moses.

Students then participated in a Thanksgiving assembly with a story called “The First Thanksgiving” where students learned about the pilgrims and their Native American friends sharing corn.  Students came dressed and ready for their assembly in colorful head wear, and shared corn with their friends in a popcorn feast.
