(Cushing, Okla.) Harrison School students met for prayer at the flag pole Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013 in observance of the annual Global Day of Student Prayer.

See You At the Pole is a student-initiated, student-organized and student-led event.  Its roots go back to 1990 in the Ft. Worth, Texas suburb of Burleson when 10 students took the initiative to pray at several schools in their community.

See You at the Pole is planned for the fourth Wednesday in September.  It is observed at schools across the United States and many countries around the world.
