(Cushing, Ok)  Iconic Singer/Songwriter Chuck Dunlap, Oklahoma native,  will perform August 22 @ 7 pm at the Cushing Country Club, as John Cooper’s musical guest for the monthly music venue – and it’s open to the public – just $5 at the door!

Chuck Dunlap was active in the Stillwater scene in the early days of what is now the red dirt music movement.

Chris B. Critter of the Current wrote:

“Dunlap is friend and musical kin to the likes of Jimmy LaFavre, Tom Skinner, and the late Bob Childers. In fact, Childers would credit the discovery of Dunlap’s music with leading himself to settle in Stillwater. Another rather well known recent Dunlap song is “My Baby”. This was a tune used in the recently ended tv drama “Saving Grace” which had been set in Oklahoma City. “

Chuck performed in April at the Cushing Country Club in 2012 and it’s a pleasure and a delight to have Dunlap back at the iconic CCC for a return performance with John Cooper!
