(Cushing, Okla.) It’s that time of the year again – the time to dust off your cowboy boots and Wranglers and come out for the 25th annual Cushing Community PRCA Rodeo, Friday, July 12 & Saturday, July 13th.
Announcer Justin McKee will be returning, as well as the popular synchronized equestrian drill team, the Canadian Valley Rangerettes and for the first time in Cushing – their junior drill team! Other highlights include trick roper Rider Kiesner, Payne County Mounted Patrol and the Wells Fargo Stagecoach. **Update: Due to unforeseen circumstances the Rangerette junior drill team will not be able to perform at this year’s rodeo.**
Also new this year – bareback riding! Steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, roping, barrel racing and bull riding are all part of the 2013 Cushing Community PRCA Rodeo!
Pre-show starts at 7:30 p.m. and rodeo at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from rodeo queen contestants Abby Jones at Mullins Salvage and Kelsi Oyler at 405-614-3318 or at either Bank of Cushing locations. $10 in advance or $12 at the gate
