(Tulsa, Okla.) – Rupa DeSilva, MD, has joined The Women’s Health Group. Dr. DeSilva is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and specializes in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
Dr. DeSilva is nationally known in the arena of pediatric and adolescent gynecology. In addition to authoring many articles in various medical journals, she lectures nationally and internationally on topics of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. In 2013, she was selected by her peers for recognition on the list of “Best Doctors of 2013” by Best Doctors, Inc., an organization founded by Harvard Medical School Physicians.
Dr. DeSilva earned her bachelor’s degree from Union College in Schenectady, NY and her medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. She was an Obstetrics and Gynecology resident at Parkland Memorial Hospital at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX and completed a fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at the Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX.
Dr. DeSilva is a member of the Tulsa County Medical Society, the Oklahoma State Medical Association, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the North American Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
Dr. DeSilva is welcoming new patients and accepts most insurance plans. The Women’s Health Group is located at 9001 S. 101st E.
