The Memorial Weekend Musicfest will be kicked off Friday at 4pm by the Drumright mayor, Ed Fitzgerald followed by the school band and cheerleaders. The cheerleaders will be selling 3 flavors of homemade ice cream on Saturday. There will be other food concessionaires and soft drinks
sold.
The Oklahoma Secretary of Veterans Affairs has been invited to speak Sunday as is Danny Morgan , State Representative.
Veterans groups to be represented include The American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Vietnam Veterans Association (VVA), Disabled
American Veterans (DAV), and various veterans committees.
We are building a 576 square foot temporary stage for the dancers, in front of the gazebo. A set of bleachers is being brought down as is folding chairs; should be able to seat about a hundred people.

The musical equipment furnished will consist of a 400 watt PA system with mains and monitors, a 500 watt guitar/keyboard amplifier, a 300 watt bass guitar amplifier, record, cd and tape player, 8 stage microphones and an announcer mike. Instruments that may be borrowed during performances include 3 guitars, a bass guitar, a 5 piece drum kit with cymbals, 2 small keyboards, conga drums, bongos, tambourines, other percussion, an accordion, pocket trumpet, improvisational songbooks, and for karaoke (bring your own cds or tapes).
