Approximately 100 students at Deep Rock ‘rallied around the flagpole’ before school this morning to observe National Day of Prayer. After a word of prayer, students did the Pledge of Allegiance and sang two songs – “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” and “This Land is Your Land.”
National Day of Prayer observances at schools are all student-led.
