(Cushing, Okla.) Cushing City Clerk Cindy Manning was honored with a retirement reception held at City Hall on Thursday. Manning submitted her letter of retirement to City Manager Steve Spears last month and it was accepted by the Commission during March’s meeting.
Manning began working for the City of Cushing in 1993. She said she decided to retire so she would have more time to travel and to spend time with her family.
Manning’s retirement date is April 30, 2012. The transition to new City Clerk, Jerrica Kahle, is currently in the process.
